Step 1
First of all, you need to go to the YouTube video portal and search for the desired material. Review it and, if it meets all your requirements, move the cursor to the row of buttons below the flash object. Click the "Submit" button.
Step 2
A line highlighted with a blue marker will appear in the "Link to this video" block. This link can be used on social networks, but you need to generate an html code for your site. To do this, click the "Embed" button.
Step 3
Next, you need to activate the option "Use old code" and "Show recommended extensions", because a new type of video insertion assumes the presence of a small frame. Not all templates currently support insertion through this frame, so it is recommended to use these options to avoid incorrect display.
Step 4
Below you will need to select the appropriate video resolution to display on the pages of your site. It is advisable to choose a medium format, and then in the settings it can be reduced or increased, depending on the Wordpress template.
Step 5
The video code will appear in the rectangular block, select it by pressing the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A, and copy it using the shortcut Ctrl + C. Now open your blog and go to the admin panel. To do this, add / wp-admin to the site address, or click the "Console" button on the gray top panel.
Step 6
Go to the "Posts" section and select "Add new". The visual editor will open by default, but you only need the html editor. It opens by clicking on the second tab of the current editor.
Step 7
It remains to paste the code by pressing the key combination Ctrl + V, and go to the "Visual" tab to view the result (how it will look on the site). Click the "Publish" button to save all changes to the added material.
