Users often want to additionally install emoticons in the agent in order to expand the set already there. But not everyone knows how to do it right.
Instructions
Step 1
Find out the name and version of your program. To do this, start it using one of the following methods. First, click the View System Information button. Or the second - through the "Start" menu, open the list of installed applications.
Step 2
On the Internet, search for emoticons that are suitable specifically for your program. Download emoticons only from trusted sites to avoid infecting your computer with malicious codes.
Step 3
Unzip the set of emoticons you downloaded, if necessary. In the event that this is a regular folder with files located in it, just copy it with the right mouse button. Make sure your agent supports this format beforehand.
Step 4
Shut down the agent if required. Open the local disk, then in Programm Files go to the directory of the client you installed. Then find the folder that contains the emoticons and paste the downloaded information into it. It should be noted that some agents have separate directories for regular statistical smileys and for animated ones.
Step 5
If you downloaded emoticons as an installer, then just double-click on the program with the right mouse button. But before you run the emoticon installer, be sure to check it with an antivirus with an anti-Trojan and updated databases.
Step 6
If no threats are found in it, then feel free to install an additional set of emoticons, while in the installer specify the directory where the program is located on your hard disk. Restart the program if required.
Step 7
Now check if the installation is correct. Run your program and open a dialog box, and then a container with emoticons by clicking on the corresponding icon. Please note that quite often some emoticon kits are designed for a specific version of the agent.
Step 8
Actually, this is the whole procedure for installing smilies into the agent. If you follow the sequence described above, then there will be no difficulties with the installation. Add emoticons to your agent and use them, delighting yourself and your interlocutors!
