For many Internet users, Live Journal is becoming a part of their lives. With the help of it, people learn about interesting events, find new friends, and fall in love. If you thoughtlessly deleted Live Journal and after that realized that you made a mistake, try to restore it.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have deleted your LiveJournal account, then, according to the rules of the site, you have the right to restore it within thirty days. Actions in this case will be almost the same as restoring a blog.
Step 2
Once in your profile, select the link "complete sitemap" at the bottom of the page. In the column "Your account" find the function "Account Management" and follow the link. After that, you will need to change your status. Now you have it written "Deleted". After clicking on the "Change" link, select the "Active" item in the drop-down menu and save the change. After that, your LiveJournal account will be restored.
Step 3
Users whose logs may be compromised will not hurt to save information, that is, to make a backup. To do this, click the "Start" button and select the "Run" command from the menu. In the line that opens, write "C: / script folder / ljpms.exe your username: backup password", then click OK. You will see a window where you can watch the backup process of your blog, and another directory with the name of your "Live Journal" will appear in the script folder. This is what you will use to restore LJ.
Step 4
Register a new account on the server. After that go to the "Start" menu, select "Run" and write in the line "C: / script folder / ljpms.exe -s username new_username: password restore", and then click OK. Now, in the window that opens, you will see how your old records are restored in a new journal.
Step 5
It happens that the administration of LiveJournal suddenly deletes an account of unsuspecting users. In this case, to restore it, you need to write to technical support. If you have not violated the rules of the service, all deleted information will be restored to you.
