World Congress on Internet Security WorldCIS 2012 was held from June 10 to 12, 2012 in Canada, at the University of Guelph exhibition complex. The main purpose of the congress was to discuss the threats facing the world community in the field of computer technologies.
The Internet Security Congress held in Canada is one of the most famous events dedicated to the theory and practical implementation of security on the Internet and computer networks. On the topic of network security, issues such as broadband access technologies, optical networks, Internet security methods, network architecture, protocols and standards, wireless networks and protocols, privacy verification for RFID systems, network applications and services, and others were considered.
During the discussion of the development of Internet applications, the following issues were raised: Internet architecture and technologies, anonymity and privacy, artificial intelligence systems, network security, database management, Internet security systems, electronic voting, self-organizing networks, traffic measurement and analysis, security data transmission, virtual networks, etc.
The topics of multimedia and web services were presented during the discussion on the issues of multimedia information systems, multimedia security, web databases, virtual reality, and database security. Many other issues were discussed during the congress.
During the work of the congress, numerous round tables were held, which allowed discussing the most relevant topics. Applications for their holding were submitted until January 31, 2012, the duration of the discussion was limited to one and a half hours.
