The history of visited pages, saved by any browser, allows you to find out not only the time of visits to sites and their addresses, but also all user requests in search engines. This service can become a real assistant if the computer has only one owner. But, if one device has several users, then the browsing history must be deleted to preserve the secrecy of the search for each person. To clear the history on the Internet, just do a few simple steps.

Step 1
To delete history in Internet Explorer, select the "Service" item located in the top menu, and in the drop-down list click on the inscription "Delete browser history".

In the window that appears, check the box "Temporary Internet files", "Cookies", "Log" and click the "Delete" button.

Internet Explorer allows you to browse in InPrivate mode without storing your browsing data. To visit web pages in this mode, click on the "Service" item in the top horizontal menu and select the InPrivate line from the drop-down list.

View the sites you are interested in only in a new window that opens with the inscription InPrivate in the upper left corner. When finished, be sure to close this area by clicking on the cross in the upper right corner of the screen.

To clear the history in Mozilla Firefox, click on the orange rectangle with the Firefox inscription and a triangular arrow, which is located in the upper left corner of the screen. Place the cursor on the "Journal" item in the right column of the menu that appears, and in the list that appears, select the line "Erase recent history".
Step 6
In the window that appears, opposite the "Clear" label, set the value to "All" and in the list below, check the "History of visits and downloads", "Cookies", "Cache" and "active sessions" checkbox. Then click on the "Clear Now" button.

If you are using the Opera browser, then click on the "Tools" label at the top of the screen and in the list that appears, click on the "Settings" item. In the window that appears, select the "Advanced settings" tab and click on the "History" inscription. Select the "Addresses" item and click on the "Clear" button.
Step 8
To clear your internet browsing history in Apple Safari, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen. In the drop-down list, go to "Reset Safari". In the window that appears, check the box "Clear history" and click the "Reset" button.
