An animal trap in MineCraft can be built in a variety of ways, and each of the ways will differ in capabilities. The user can choose any of the methods - it all depends on desire and patience.
Where to begin
To create traps for animals, the first thing to do is to find a free piece of land. The larger it is, the more animals will fall into it. And the number of useful items that can be obtained will depend on the number of animals trapped in the trap.
It is most convenient to start building the trap from the very center. The best and easiest option is to build a trap with sides of 2x3 cube. If you choose larger options, there will be a chance that spiders will catch on the walls of the traps and get out of the trap.
From several sides it is necessary to bring trenches to the trap with dimensions of 8x2x3 where (length x width x depth). The length should be exactly that, since the water in MineCraft spreads over exactly 7 cubes, and together with its source, just 8 cubes are obtained.
After that, the user needs to dig a depression right in the center of the trap. 40 cubes down will be enough. And down there, it is necessary to create another additional room, equipped with stairs or tunnels from the user's house.
Additional trenches
Additionally, the user can bring several more to each of the trenches. New trenches should be 2 cubic meters deep - this will further increase the space of the trap being created. It is also possible to deepen the main trenches.
After that, it is necessary to fill the trap with water, and this must be done so that it flows from the edges to the middle. Then all the animals that fall into the trap will gradually move straight to the center. There is no need to be afraid that animals will jump out - the jump height of many characters is equal to only one cube.
In order to further increase the number of animals that fall into the user's trap, it is necessary to remove artificial and natural light on the surface of the structure.
Trap maintenance
The standard trap will be replenished with victims mainly at night, but in order to rectify the situation, it is enough just to build a dome over the trap.
Also, the trap itself can be upgraded. For example, you can create one or more rooms directly above the surface, and then direct the flow from them to the central part.
You should not create rooms for collecting animals too deep - monsters will fall into it and die due to the large fall height.
Finally
The presented trap is not the most successful, and the point is that all animals that fall into it will be at a very great depth. This indicates the difficulty of accessing them. You also need to spend a lot of time creating and securing the trap itself.
