Step 1
In current versions of Minecraft, rain can be turned off using commands. However, this can be done only in the world, during the creation of which the use of cheat codes was allowed. When creating a new world of the game, you need to check the corresponding item in the settings. Most experienced players choose not to do this, as using cheats and commands kills all the fun from the game, however, it allows you to play with the settings of the world during the game.
Step 2
If the use of commands and cheats is allowed, it is very easy to turn off the rain. It is enough to call the console or the chat window (by default, this can be done using the T key), and type / toggledownfall there. This turns off the rain or snow that is currently falling. If you want the world to be constantly sunny, type the command / weather sun 100000. If you want to turn on the rain, type in the command / weather rain 100000
Step 3
Keep in mind that rain has many benefits. For example, it extinguishes fire on all surfaces except Hellstone, which can be very useful in forest fires. When it rains, the chance of catching fish increases significantly, besides, the growth of seeds in the beds is accelerated.
Step 4
Some monsters take damage from being in the rain. This concerns the Enderman, who constantly teleports, trying to hide from the water. It is in rainy weather that you can try to kill this monster in order to get a rare Pearl of the End, it is especially convenient if you do not have enough resources for good armor or weapons. Efreet and Snow Golems also take rain damage, while burning monsters, animals and the player is extinguished.
Step 5
If you do not want to use cheats, but are eager to get rid of the rain, wait until dusk and go to bed. After you wake up, the weather will be sunny and clear.
