Step 1
The Skype system in terms of account deletion may disappoint you. In fact, the Skype account cannot be deleted in any way. This is due to the Skype security policy. However, there are a number of tricks you can use to make your username unsearchable or delete your Skype account from the computer you want, for example, if you don't sign in to Skype for two weeks, your Skype account will be excluded from the search system. However, if you log into your account after these two weeks, it will be included in the search again.
Step 2
You can make your Skype profile harder to find in the search by removing all personal information (city, name, phone number, etc.) in it. This will make it difficult to find your Skype account for two weeks while you wait for your account to be excluded from the search.
Step 3
To remove data from your profile, first you need to launch Skype on your computer and open the "Skype" menu. In it, find the item "personal data" and select "edit my data".
Step 4
By selecting a menu item, you are taken to the profile editing page. On this page, delete all editable profile fields (remember to click the checkbox to save your changes). Skype login and country cannot be deleted, but if necessary, you can select another country.
Step 5
You can also delete the Skype profile from your computer. This will not lead to the physical deletion of the Skype account, just the computer will not offer to select this profile on the login page, and all Skype settings for this user saved on the computer will be erased.
Step 6
Removing your Skype account from your computer can be useful if you used someone else's computer to sign in to Skype and do not want your Skype account information to remain there.
