Facebook is the largest and arguably the most popular social network in the world. Billions of people around the world are registered here to communicate with each other, so the chances of finding the person you want on the site are pretty high.

Step 1
Register on the Facebook social network and get a personal username and password to enter the site. Go to your page. Fill out your profile with your first name, last name, adding a photo and a brief information about yourself. This is necessary so that the person with whom you want to communicate can recognize you and add you to their contacts.
Step 2
Go to the search bar located at the top left of your profile home page. Enter the name and surname of the person you need in it and click on the magnifying glass icon. You will see the search results, among which you can select the desired user. Follow the brief information under each name, which indicates the city and place of work or study of the person. You can write a message to the selected user or add him as a friend to gain access to personal information in the profile.
Step 3
Try other ways to find people on Facebook. Click on the link in the upper right corner of your profile titled "Find Friends". You will be taken to a page where you can see if there are users who want to add you as a friend, as well as see people you might know. To do this, you need to fill in your personal data in as much detail as possible, as a result of which users in the list will be grouped according to similar criteria: schools and universities where you studied, your place of work, residence, etc.
Step 4
Search for people who are listed in your contacts on other social networks or communication services by selecting the appropriate item on the right side of the friends search page. As soon as you specify your username and password to enter one of the services, for example, email or Skype, Facebook will automatically transfer people from the contact list to your friends if they are registered in this social network.
