Opera is a popular web browser that supports a large number of interface languages, including Russian. If you have installed the international version of the program, the language can be changed using the corresponding item in the settings menu without installing additional language packs.
Instructions
Step 1
Modern versions of Opera come with a preinstalled set of language packs. This means that switching to the desired language does not require the user to perform additional actions, except for making settings in the corresponding menu item.

Open the program window using the appropriate shortcut or item in the Windows Start menu. Wait for the utility to finish loading and for the home page or quick launch bar to appear.

Click on the Opera button to go to the browser settings. Then click on the Tools item of the context menu that appears. Then go to the Preferences subsection to further navigate to the list of options.

In the General tab, pay attention to the Languages line, which is responsible for configuring the language pack installed in the program. In the User Interface Language section, click on the drop-down list and select the "Russian" option from the list of suggested languages. Click "OK" to apply the changes. Restart the utility for the saved settings to take effect. When you restart it, you will see that now all interface elements have Russian names.
Step 5
If there is no Russian language in the User Interface Language list, you will need to install a different version of the program to change the package. To do this, go to the official Opera website in a browser window and click on the "Download" button. If your operating system runs in Russian and you are currently located in Russia, the resource will automatically detect the Russian version of the browser for download. After downloading the installation file, run it and update by following the instructions on the screen. The setting of the Russian language in Opera is completed.
Step 6
If, when you go to the Opera website, the English version is automatically loaded, this means that in order to change the language after installing the program, you will need to go to the Languages settings section again and change the corresponding parameter. The downloadable utility is international and contains in its set all the languages most widely used today.
