Step 1
As in any other social network, Vkontakte, you can add your friends to special lists, and these lists can be edited. Users you have added to your friends list can be divided into several groups, which include Best Friends, Relatives, School Friends, High School Friends, and Colleagues.
Step 2
To move this or that user to a special group, enter your Vkontakte page using your login and password for authorization. The main window will appear in front of you, on the right side of which your personal information, interests, contact information will be located, below you can notice a wall with your notes and the records of your friends. A little to the left of your personal information is your avatar, that is, the main photo, below it is a list of gifts, your subscribers and friends, and on the left are the sections "My messages", "My page", "My groups", "My audio recordings", "My videos", "Documents", "My Photos", "Applications" and "Settings". To edit the list of friends, you can click on the "My friends" section, which is located in this menu, or use the "Friends" button under the list of your gifts.
Step 3
Now a window has opened in front of you, in which the profiles of users with whom you are familiar are located. To add some of them to the list of best friends, colleagues, relatives, friends at school or university, select a specific person, and to the right of his name you will notice the fields "Write a message", "View friends", "Remove from friends", "Customize Lists". Click on the last field with the left mouse button, and you will see the lists of the required subgroups. Select what you need and click on the corresponding entry.
Step 4
In addition, you can move some users as hidden friends. To do this, take a close look at the menu located to the left of your main photo, click on the "My Settings" section, select the "Privacy" tab, which is located at the very top of the page. Find in the tab that opens the column "Who is visible in the list of my friends and subscriptions", click on the inscription "All friends". A window with usernames will appear in front of you. Click on the names of those you want to hide and click on the "Save Changes" button. Don't forget to check the privacy of your page again. In this window, you will see the inscription "Who sees my hidden friends." Make sure it says "Just me" next to it.
