When creating a new site, you need to come up with a domain name for it. Often newbies sign up for free hosting to protect themselves from failure. If the resource is working successfully, the owner can acquire a more sonorous memorable name and transfer the site to another domain.

Step 1
Post a notice on your website about the upcoming transfer. Do this a few days before the actual change of address. During this time, a large number of users will be able to read the notification, and you will also have a spare time to delegate a new domain. Change the Domain Name Server (DNS). To do this, contact the company that registered your domain. For some time (1-3 days), while the DNS change process is in progress, the site will be unavailable to users. Keep any services that were running on the old site, such as the current site address or email redirection. Use Domain Name Search to track the transfer process or view a report after the transfer is complete.
Step 2
Make sure that the new domain name is used to open access to the server on which the site is located via the HTTP protocol. Upload all files to the new hosting server using the Dreamweaver editor. In this case, the site will not change when transferring files. In the FrontPage editor, create a new site from the transferred files, then move it to the new hosting. Make sure this hosting allows you to use Front Page file extensions. This will load the entire site.
Step 3
Try another method for transferring web pages. Copy the source code. To do this, right-click on the page and select "View HTML Code". Then transfer the text to Notepad text editor. Save the file as HTML, first changing its extension in the menu from txt to html. After that, load the completed page wherever needed. Please note that the images on the page will have to be saved separately.
Step 4
After completing the site transfer, check that the resource is working correctly on the new domain. Set up redirection of each page from the old domain to the new address. Disable basic authorization to access the old and new sites.
