Facebook announced the launch of its own App Center store. By going to his page, users will be able to buy and download the applications they need. This store offers only those programs that are directly related to the social network.
Instructions
Step 1
The open store offers applications for smartphones and tablets based on the iOS and Android operating systems. It contains both paid programs and free ones. More than 600 applications are expected to be available to users. In order to enter the store, you must be registered with Facebook. If you are already registered, just go to the store page.
Step 2
On the left side of the page, you will see a column with sections of the store, select the one you need - for example, "Entertainment", "Lifestyle", "Music", "News", "Sports", etc. When you select the desired section, a list of available applications will appear. The number of users will also be indicated next to their names, which makes it possible to judge the popularity of these programs.
Step 3
Please note that by default, a page with applications with the highest rating opens. Also available are Recommended, Trending, and Friends options. The first category lists programs recommended by Facebook. The section with programs that are gaining popularity is also interesting. Finally, in the latter case, you can see which apps your friends have downloaded.
Step 4
After selecting the desired application, click it with the mouse, the page of this program will open with its screenshot. By clicking on it, you can get acquainted with more detailed information about the application; there is an arrow to scroll through the pages on the right side of the window that opens. After deciding to purchase the required application, you will be redirected to the appropriate page.
Step 5
Unfortunately, as of June 2012, only US citizens could buy apps in the App Center store, the project is still in the testing stage. It is expected that in the coming weeks residents of other countries will have the opportunity to purchase their favorite programs.
