When a message appears on the computer screen that the user profile is corrupted, a slight panic occurs. After all, the profile contains files, settings and configurations for Outlook Express and Internet Explorer, information about which is of no small importance.

Step 1
But most of these messages imply only a failure of settings, the profile can be restored fairly quickly. To get started, open the main menu "Start" and select the area "Control Panel". Click on the item "User Accounts" with the subsection "Family Safety" and in the list that appears, open the section for user accounts.
Step 2
Find the "Manage" section for another account, and under the list of items, select the "Create Accounts" option. When the window for making changes appears on the screen, check the box next to the desired user type - "Basic access" or "Administrator" - and write down a new name that will later be displayed in the "Start" menu, as well as when you turn on the computer as a greeting.
Step 3
Click on the "Create an entry" item, then select the "Log out" option from the main "Start" menu. Log into the system with a username that does not match either the damaged profile or the name of the new account.
Step 4
Click the main Start menu again and find the Documents section. In the window that opens, press the alt="Image" button and select the "Tools" menu. In the list of functions, find the item "Folder Options", click on the "View" tab and uncheck the box next to the line "Hide protected files". Also check the box "Show hidden files" in the corresponding section. Then click on OK.
Step 5
Open the folder named C: Users "old username", find the "Edit" menu, select the "Paste" function and complete the shutdown of all applications. After that, close the session itself in the system through the "Start" button and go under the name of the newly created account.
Step 6
After you import all the necessary messages and email addresses into the new profile, delete the corrupted profile.
