ICQ, or "ICQ", is considered the most popular, although not the most convenient messenger. The downside of beautiful animation and many program options is slow loading, especially on low-power computers, and an abundance of ads. Nevertheless, most Internet users know how to use it or its analogue. Search for additional contacts in such applications is carried out using the keyboard or mouse.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch ICQ, enter your login and password for authorization. Wait for the contact list to load.
Step 2
Click on the contacts dialog to make it active. Press the “F5” key or the “Find / add new contacts” button marked with a magnifying glass.
Step 3
A contact search window will open. Enter the details of the user you want to find. This can be an ICQ number, an e-mail or a nickname in the system. Enter data in the fields with appropriate names (user ID or ICQ number - number, e-mail or @mail - mailbox, nick-name - alias). You can search by real name or surname, if the user is registered in the system under the real name.
Step 4
Enter additional information: age, country, language, city, and more. Please note that the user may indicate information about himself that does not correspond to reality.
Step 5
Press the Enter key or the Search button. Select users from the list that appears by double-clicking.
