E-mail has a wide functionality and makes it possible to instantly send texts and files of various formats. There are both paid and free services where you can register your mailbox.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose one of the free servers providing e-mail services. The most popular of them are: mail.ru, yandex.ru, rambler.ru, google.com, pochta.ru, gmail.ru, etc. Get acquainted with the interface and functionality of each mail resource, choose the most preferable one …
Step 2
Open the main page of the selected mail service and click the "Register" button. In the form that appears, enter your personal data: name and surname, date of birth, place of residence, indicate your mobile phone number (it is needed to restore access to your mailbox in case of password loss).
Step 3
Come up with a name for your mailbox. The system usually offers a choice of automatically configured numbers based on your personal information. You can choose one of the suggested names or come up with your own. If you decide to choose the second option and show your imagination, keep in mind that such a name may already exist (the system will warn you about this), so the selected login will have to be modified.
Step 4
After you have added a login to the profile, enter the password. It is best if it contains at least 6 characters, while it is unacceptable to use the Cyrillic alphabet. A strong password should consist of numbers and letters of different case, do not use obvious data in it (your year of birth, a sequence of numbers like: 12345, etc.).
Step 5
If necessary, select a security question or create your own and enter the answer to it. This option is used to change a forgotten password for this mailbox. For the same purposes, an additional e-mail address may be required.
Step 6
After entering all the required data, click the "Register" button. Upon successful registration, you will see a page with your mailbox data. From there you can log into your account and start working with this mail service. Some mail services immediately after registration will open a window with the interface of your mailbox, in which there will be welcome letters from this resource. After that, you can start using email in full.
