In order to delimit access to one computer for several users, there is a special tool - accounts. Very often it becomes necessary to delete accounts due to the decrease in the number of computer users. How can this be done?
Instructions
Step 1
Remember that it is not possible to delete the administrator account. You also have no power to delete the guest account. You can only enable or disable it. But you are able to add and remove the accounts you need by logging into the system as a computer administrator. You can also delete another administrator's account. But remember, it is necessary that at least one computer administrator remains in the system. You cannot delete his account. It is limited by the computer system.
Step 2
Turn on the computer and log into the system with an administrator account. If you do not have administrator rights, contact the one who has them. Go to the "Start" menu and go to the "Control Panel" tab. Regardless of the type of display of the control panel menu (by category or classic), select the "User Accounts" tab and go to it.
Step 3
Find the "Change Account" tab in the "Jobs" section and go to it. Select the entry you want to delete from the list. After double-clicking on the selected account, you will be presented with a list of those parameters that can be changed in this account.
Step 4
Select the item "Delete account" and double-click on it with the mouse. Decide whether to save the contents of your desktop and the My Documents folder in a new folder (specially created by your computer) or not, and select the appropriate menu item. If the contents of these folders are of interest to you, then select "Save these files", if not, then you can safely delete them (click "Delete these files").
Step 5
Remember, there is always the option to cancel the deletion of an account by clicking the Cancel button. Next, click the "Delete Account" button. The computer will check for the last time whether you really want to carry out the specified actions. If so, the account will be permanently deleted.
