It contains the basics of mail familiar to everyone, namely: writing the text of the letter, sending it and receiving it by the addressee. True, now this can be done much faster without leaving your desktop.

Step 1
A big plus of e-mail is the efficiency of actions, i.e. sent emails reach in a matter of seconds. It should be noted that when sending a large number of invitations, it is the electronic "pigeon" that will do it much faster, and with a report on the work done.
Step 2
To send emails, you need to install special software, for example, Microsoft Outlook Express, The Bat! etc., or use your email account via the web interface - in this case, you will need an Internet browser.

Then you should register on the site of one of the existing mail servers. Make a choice between Mail.ru, Gmail.com and Yandex - these are the most popular email services today. Having received your login and password, you can enter the interface for managing your account, i.e. start writing letters.
Step 4
The Gmail service will be used as an example. Press the button "Write a letter" (the name of the buttons for other services may be different). In the window that opens, you need to fill in three empty fields. In the “To” field, specify the addressee of the letter, the format of which will be “[email protected]”. If you send an email to the email address of the Gmail service, the value "site.ru" will change to gmail.com. To send a letter to several recipients, click the "Add a copy" link.
Step 5
The heading of the letter is written in the next empty field "Letter subject". It is worth noting that it is recommended to fill in this field in any case - this makes your news informative. A letter without a subject can easily end up in the spam folder of the addressee (advertising and other messages).
Step 6
The message text is entered in the last blank field. You can also copy text from any document into this field using the "copy-paste" link (Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V). Click the "Attach a file" link to send any type of attachment with the email. To send multiple documents in this way, it is recommended to initially pack them into an archive using the free 7Zip program.
