Skype is a program that is actively gaining popularity, also due to the fact that users recommend it to each other for communication. However, it often happens that a person has already registered in the program, and then forgot the credentials that he entered during registration.
How to view login
Situations in which the user needs to remember his Skype login, that is, the name under which he is registered in the program, can arise in various circumstances. So, for example, you may be asked to provide your login at the moment when you have already launched the program, that is, logged into your account.
Even if at first glance it seems difficult to remember it, there is a simple solution to this problem. So, in the upper part of the left column of the program window, which automatically opens when it starts, you see your own name. It is also seen by your interlocutors when you send messages to them.
However, it should be understood that this name and the login used to log in are most often different from each other. To find out your login, you need to left-click on your name, as a result of which all your data that you told the program will appear in the main window of the program. In this case, immediately under the name you can find the line "Account", opposite which your own login is registered.
How to remember login
A slightly more difficult task of obtaining information about your Skype login will be in case you are not already signed in to your account. In this case, you can try using a few basic options. So, if you have already logged into Skype from this computer, pay attention to the form designed to enter your username and password.
If only you logged into Skype from this computer, your login will be displayed in this form by default. If several users entered the program, their logins will be saved in the entry line of the corresponding information. You should click on the arrow on the right side of the login field. This will cause a dropdown of the list of logins of all users who entered Skype from this computer, among which you can probably find your own.
You can also take advantage of the software capabilities provided by Skype for recovering user data: to do this, you need to click the "Can't sign in to your account?" Link, located under the login and password entry form, and follow the further instructions. However, it should be borne in mind that you can use it only if you remember the email address that you provided during registration.
Alternatively, you can simply reach out to one of the people you know are on your Skype contact list. Any of them can look at your profile data and tell you the login under which you are registered in the program.
