When using the Internet, one of the most important factors affecting the speed of work is the speed of downloading information itself. To increase it, you can use one of the simple methods.

Step 1
There are two ways you can increase your download speed - changing your tariff plan to a faster one, or optimizing processes that use a network connection. Check with your ISP for the fastest data plan. For optimization, go to the next step.
Step 2
When surfing the web, the main parameter affecting performance is the speed of loading pages. Configure your browser in such a way that it is minimal. To do this, disable the loading of such elements as pictures, as well as java and flash applications. Also disable the processes that are currently using the internet connection. Close messengers, torrent clients, and download managers, after stopping all active downloads. Disable applications, both downloading updates in active mode and those in the tray. Control their disabling by launching the task manager.
Step 3
To maximize your file download speed, follow the same guidelines as in the previous step. The number of programs using a network connection other than the download manager must be zero. Pause all other active downloads or configure the download manager so that the maximum number of simultaneous downloads is one. Remove speed limits if it's worth it. Do not launch third-party applications that use network connections until the download is complete.
Step 4
When downloading a file using a torrent client, configure the program by setting the highest priority for downloads and limiting the upload speed to one kilobit per second. To do this, select the entire list of files in the application and click on them with the right mouse button, then check the boxes on the necessary items of the drop-down menu. Pause all downloads except the one with the highest priority at the moment. Keep in mind that until the file download is complete, it will be impossible to use other applications that require the Internet to function, since the torrent client tends to block the entire network access channel.
