Step 1
In order to urgently disconnect from the Internet, you can use the Network and Sharing Center. Click on the connection icon in the "start" panel, then select "disconnect or connect", then disconnect the existing connection. If you use a modem to connect to the Internet, it will be enough to turn off the modem or pull out the modem cord from the computer. In order to de-energize the modem, you can unplug it or turn it off using the on / off button. Alternatively, you can unplug the power cord from the modem itself.

If you are going somewhere for a long time, then to turn off the unlimited Internet, you need to visit the office of the Internet access service provider to which you are connected. In this case, you will need to write a statement on the provision of the service "suspension of access", or write a statement on the termination of the agreement on access to the Internet.
