It's probably no secret that sometimes ads can be too intrusive and annoying. Personal computer users have a unique opportunity to get rid of such advertisements.
Some personal computer users using a browser from the infamous Google company - Google Chrome, can remove ads that appear while surfing the Internet. Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of such advertisements. For example, after clicking, an additional window may open in which a particular product will be advertised, or a special banner may appear that interferes with the normal operation of the site.
The user can use one of several methods, which in his opinion is more acceptable. In total, there are three such methods: disconnecting using an extension in Google Chrome called Adblock, disconnecting using Adblock Plus and disconnecting through the settings of the Google Chrome browser.
Adblock
The first way is to install a browser extension. In order to install Adblock, you need to go to the settings menu (the wrench or gear icon in the right corner of the browser window). There you need to find the "Tools" item and select "Extensions". A new window will open where the user needs to scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on the "More extensions" link. In a special search bar, you must enter the name of the extension - Adblock, and after the results appear, the user can familiarize himself with the extension and download it. After that, you need to confirm the addition of the extension. After installation, you do not have to worry about various kinds of advertisements appearing.
Adblock plus
The second method is very similar to the first, only in the search bar for extensions you need to write not just Adblock, but Adblock Plus. When this extension is found, you can download it and confirm the installation. The extension will appear in the upper right corner of the browser screen, and the user can use a special icon to set his own display parameters.
Disabling ads through Google Chrome settings
The third method is as follows - you need to go to the "Settings" of the Google Chrome browser and find the "Content Settings" button in the "Personal data" field. A new window will appear, in which, to disable ads, you should check the box next to the "Block pop-up windows on all sites" item. It should be noted that here the user also has the right to set his own parameters using the "Manage Exceptions" button. This setting makes it very easy to enable advertisements and pop-ups only on sites of interest.
