Owners of many sites change their design during the New Year period, and then return it back to the previous one. What exactly is the best way to put on a web page to make it really look festive?

Step 1
Decide during what period the site should be decorated festively. A good option is the following: from December 10 to January 20 inclusive.
Step 2
Make a backup copy of the site so that after the end of the holiday period you can quickly return its design to the usual one.
Step 3
Set the background of the site to a color that is a shade of green, not too light, but not too dark either. You can also choose an image of a fragment of a Christmas tree as a background without any decorations. It should be large enough not to be repeated too often. The joints of the same images should be invisible.
Step 4
Change the font color to light green, the background color of the input forms to light green, and the font in the forms to dark green. In all cases, the text must be well readable.
Step 5
Decorate the "header" of the site with images of Christmas tree decorations, "rain", garlands in moderation.
Step 6
Change the appearance of the buttons, for example, decorate them with Christmas balls.
Step 7
Under no circumstances place a script on the site that creates the effect of moving snowflakes. A visitor to the page from such a script can start to "slow down" the browser, which is unlikely to delight him.
Step 8
Immediately before the holidays - New Year, Christmas - place a corresponding greeting in the title of the site. Take it away the next day after the holiday.
Step 9
After the end of the holiday period, restore the design from the backup copy, but not the content of the site, since during this period it may have changed.
Step 10
Do not use the same New Year site design from year to year. Make it new every time.
Step 11
Never plagiarize images from the first sites you see. Remember that microstocks and photobanks are also free, and you probably also have your own camera. Respect other people's work if you want other people to respect yours.
