Many people do not know that SMS messages can be sent not only from the phone, but also from the computer. There are special forms for sending messages from a computer on the websites of mobile operators. Also, sending SMS from a computer can be done using special programs.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to send an SMS from a computer, you need to open a browser and go to the Internet at the site of the mobile operator, to whose number the SMS is supposed to be sent. On the site, find a tab, or a link that says "Send SMS". After clicking on it, a web page with a submit form should open in the browser. In the upper field, as a rule, the recipient's phone number is entered, and below the text of the message. When sending SMS, you can select the time of its delivery, the time after which the SMS should not be delivered (in the case of a large queue for sending), as well as the message format: Russian letters, or transliteration. After clicking on the "Send" button in the next window that opens, the message sending status should be displayed: "Delivered" or "In the process of sending".
Step 2
You can also send a short SMS from a computer using special programs, such as Skype. Download Skype from the official website and install it on your computer. Please note that Skype only allows you to send paid SMS from your computer. To replenish your account, use electronic money, or bank transfer using a plastic card. A Skype deposit means that you either subscribe to a certain tariff plan, or send messages and call at a certain fixed tariff. After confirming the deposit on Skype, you can send SMS and make calls to computers and phones.
Step 3
You can also send SMS from a computer using the Mail. Ru Agent and ICQ programs. To do this, add a mobile phone to your contact list and send SMS in the same way as short messages in the messenger. There may be a certain fee for sending SMS, but messages to some numbers may be free.
