Every day, a lot of letters come to our e-mail: business and friendly contacts, congratulations on the holidays, notifications about upcoming sales and promotions. By quickly sorting incoming messages on your mailbox, it's easy to make a mistake and send an unread or important message to the Trash. How do I restore it?

Instructions

Step 1

If the settings of your mailbox are not programmed to instantly delete letters in the "Trash", then the desired contact can be easily restored.

Step 2

Find links to the mail folders created on your mailbox. By default, each mail service has Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts, and Trash folders configured. If necessary, you can create additional contact folders and move letters there according to their thematic affiliation - friendships, work contacts or mailing service messages, if you are subscribed to one. Left-click on the "Trash" folder.

Step 3

The "Trash" contains letters that you have marked for deletion. Depending on the selected settings, the "Trash" can store letters for several days, freeing up its space only after reaching a certain limit of letters, or it can delete letters immediately after you leave your mailbox. Customize the "Basket" at your discretion by clicking on the "Settings" item.

Step 4

Browse through the contents of the "Trash" and find the email that needs to be restored. You can make things easier for yourself by using the Sender Search. Just click on the name of the contact, and the e-mail system itself will show all the letters of the addressee that are in the "Trash". Select the letter or letters you want to recover. To do this, check the boxes in the special marks of the letters. Next, decide where you want to restore the marked emails. The fact is that the "Trash" of e-mail, unlike the "Trash" on your computer, allows you to recover deleted files not only to the folder from which they were deleted. You can move letters from the electronic "Trash" to any folder of your mailbox by clicking the corresponding button and specifying the necessary path for the files to move. The list of available folders opens after clicking on the "Move" button. Left-click on the selected folder and click "OK" to confirm your actions. Now you can open the specified mail folder and find messages recovered from the "Trash" in it.
