Step 1
If you still don't know how to take screenshots in a standard way, try clicking the PrintScreen button. Then start any graphics editor and in the new file perform the operation "Paste from clipboard". After saving the image, you can upload it to a server, for example, Radikal, and get a link to this image.

But in some cases, you need to create more desktop images than just one snapshot. Using standard tools is considered irrational, so it is worth using the capabilities of new programs. Working with the Jet Screenshot utility will be considered as an example.

First of all, you will need the installation files for the program, which can be downloaded from the official website. Follow the link below and click the Download Now button. Because the program takes up quite a bit of space, it will load quickly. The utility is installed in normal mode using the prompts of the installation wizard.

After installing and launching the program, its icon appears in the system tray, which is also called the tray. Right-click on the icon to select the desired area of the screen. After you release the left mouse button, the rest of the space will be darkened and a small toolbar will appear on the screen. Here you can choose the image editing tools: add caption, highlight text, crop the image, etc.

When you are finished editing the screenshot, you need to click the button for posting the image on the network - the image will be automatically saved, and you will receive a link to your screenshot. Highlight the link and copy it to the clipboard. You now have a link to embed your image on any page on the site.
