Over time, the browser (an Internet browser for browsing the Internet) may begin to work unsatisfactorily, which requires its removal and possible reinstallation. This need can be expressed in a constant or periodic "freeze" of the program, which is most likely caused by viruses. Another reason for the need to uninstall a browser is the ability to install a newer version of the program or install a different browser.
Instructions
Step 1
Open Control Panel (from the Start Menu).
Step 2
Find the "Add or Remove Programs" section. Open it by double-clicking it.
Step 3
After opening the standard "Add or Remove Programs" utility, you will see a list of all programs installed on your computer.
Step 4
In the list that appears, you need to find a line with the name of the browser that needs to be removed from the system. Then select this line (by clicking on it once with the left mouse button).

The expanded line will display information about the size and frequency of use of this program.

On the right side of the line there are two program control buttons (for some programs - only one button):
- Change. Allows, if there is an installation file for the program (distribution) or disk, to install various add-ons to it.
- Delete. Button for complete or partial removal of the program. Partial uninstallation involves removing only selected parts of the program. Complete uninstall - completely removes the program from the computer.
Step 7
Thus, to uninstall the browser, you must click the "Delete" button, and then follow the instructions of the uninstall wizard.
