In the process of creating a website, some webmasters are thinking about integrating a photo gallery into their Internet resource. Therefore, for novice site builders, it will not be superfluous to find out the procedure for installing such a component.
Instructions
Step 1
First, install one of the latest versions of the Joomla website builder. After that, download the JoomGallery component from the developer's site, preferably one of the latest versions (in accordance with the version of Joomla that was installed) and in Russian. Install it. To do this, go to the control panel of the designer, select the "Install / Remove" line from the "Extensions" menu item, and in the window that opens, select the "Download / Install" option. Give a positive answer to the installation proposal.
Step 2
Then open the Joomla site builder. Select the JoomGallery module from the Components menu and configure the tools required to install the gallery. Then create a category and use the menu to load the selected photos sequentially. It is better to edit photos for the gallery in advance by size, format and save them in a separate folder on your desktop.
Step 3
After that, create a menu. To do this, in the "Menu Items" section, activate the "Create" button, and in the window that opens, click on the JoomGallery option. Then, in Latin, type the name of the menu and a nickname. The created menu must be saved by clicking on the corresponding button. After completing the previous steps, you should check the presence of a link to the photo gallery in the site menu.
Step 4
Then, following the instructions above, add the rest of the photos. Do not forget to save the changes that appear when adding new photos. In order to expand the capabilities of the installed photo gallery, you can use additional modules and plugins. Access to them is provided by the site itself. If you nevertheless decide to use any other site management system, the procedure for creating a photo gallery is almost the same, only the names of the components, menu items, etc. differ.
