In Minecraft, for the creation of some extremely popular things (for example, arrows or flint), one very interesting resource is sometimes needed - flint. Without getting it, it will be impossible to get the above items in your inventory, and without them you cannot activate the portal to the Lower World, or you cannot expect success in a fight with some dangerous mobs.
What breed is flint found in
It should be said that it is very difficult to replenish this resource in the game. The expense of those things for the manufacture of which it is required is already very high. For example, if a gamer went to the Nether World or the End and fights with local bosses (the Wither or the dragon), arrows in such a fight will fly out of his inventory at almost cosmic speed. They should have a very decent supply for such tasks, and therefore you should not expect to get them only as loot from killed skeletons - there will be too few of them. To be sure, you should make them yourself.
In such operations, flint is indispensable - it serves as the material for the tips of these deadly weapons. Meanwhile, there are no independent deposits of such a resource in Minecraft. It drops out only when mining another material (by the way, useless for crafting) - gravel.
The latter cannot be called expensive or rare. There is plenty of it in every chunk, and it is better to look for it in natural depressions (like holes in the ground), as well as under water or in the bowels of the earth. When developing it, the chance of finding flint does not exceed ten percent. Crafting a much needed resource is impossible.
Some Tricks to Increase Flint Extraction
However, many seasoned gamers are aware of certain tricks with which you can achieve the fact that the production of flint will increase several times. For this, for example, it does not hurt to enchant a tool for digging gravel (usually a shovel). This is done on a special enchanting table. It should be surrounded by as many bookshelves as possible - this increases the range of valid enchantments. From their entire list, you must select the Luck of the third level - then the flint will fall out of the gravel with one hundred percent probability.
If this player does not yet have an enchantment table, and there is nothing to craft it from (and such an undertaking requires some very expensive resources - in particular, diamonds), it is worth trying to increase the production of a valuable resource for making arrows in a slightly different way. To do this, you need to get as much gravel as possible and put it in huge piles on any flat surface (preferably on the ground). The height of such man-made structures must reach at least ten blocks. Next, with the help of a shovel, you need to start digging under such mountains of gravel. Experienced players claim that during this process much more flint falls out of it than during its usual development.
When there is an NPC village nearby, in which this gamer has a good reputation, and some valuable resources have accumulated in his inventory, you should try to bargain for them the required amount of flint. You can purchase four to five units of this material in one trade operation from only one villager - a farmer. They recognize him by his brown clothes (the armourer also wears the same, but the latter has a slightly darker color). The price of the above amount of flint is one - ten blocks of gravel or an emerald.
