Instagram is an intuitive app for posting photos from your phone. This is how it was originally conceived. But over time, the program with elements of social networks has evolved into something more. Now it is a platform for advertising campaigns, sales, for "promotion" of other Internet projects. Instagram now helps not only to show off your photos and communicate, but also to run a full-fledged business. Therefore, for many, the possibility of full-fledged work in this application on a PC is currently relevant.
To successfully promote your Instagram account, it is important to post photos regularly. This can be done both from the phone and from the computer. There are several ways to add photos from a PC.
Adding photos using a browser
The easiest way is to use browser functionality. You must first log into your account. Next, you need to open the source code of the page. This can be done with the mouse, by right-clicking on any place, as a result, a menu will open. Then go to the "View code" tab. You can also view the source code using the Ctrl + Shift + I key combination or the F12 function key. After such manipulation, the site page takes the form of a mobile version. On the right will be the markup, and on the left - the site in its usual view.
If the "Publish" button does not appear, then you need to refresh the page using the "refresh" icon in the top bar of the browser or using the F5 key. If you opened HTML code with F12, you will need to find the icon for the mobile version of the site. It is located in the page code menu and is called "Toggle device toolbar". Sometimes you have to refresh the page twice for the Publish button to finally appear. But usually it works the first time.
This description is relevant for the Google Chrome browser. In other browsers, the steps are identical, but the name of the page code may differ. For example, in the Mozilla FireFox browser, you need to look for a tab called "Page source code", in the Opera browser "Frame source code", in Yandex. Browser Explore Element, and Internet Explorer View HTML Code.
Further steps for adding a post to Instagram from a PC are the same as from a phone. By clicking on the plus sign "Publish", we get into the explorer. Select a photo, click "Open", edit, use filters if desired, click "Next". We sign the publication, add hashtags and, finally, click on the "Share" button. It's so simple, without using third-party programs and resources, you can post to Instagram from your computer. But sometimes, for some reason, it is not possible to carry out such a simple action. Do not despair, you can do it differently.
Other posting methods
1. You can upload a photo using third-party resources, for example, auto-posting services. There are a lot of them, they allow you to post to various social networks, the functionality of each service may differ. The only disadvantage of this method is the service fee. They have a free trial, but then you still have to pay if you like this option. The sequence of work in all services is approximately the same: register, add an Instagram account to the service, upload a photo (immediately or schedule auto-posting several days in advance). For this purpose, you can use the resources: "postingram", "instmsk", "smmplanner" and others.
2. If the operating system Windows 10 is installed on the computer, then you can upload a photo using the official application specially developed for this version of the system. Before uploading content, you need to move it to the Camera Album folder, if installed. And you can take pictures directly on a computer camera and publish from the same folder. If the webcam is not connected, the posting to the feed will not be possible. Submissions can only be submitted to Direct or Stories. Therefore, this option cannot be considered complete.
3. The most difficult way to solve the problem is to use an emulator. An emulator is a program that, after installing and running it on a computer, will make the computer "think" that it is a phone running on the Android operating system. There are many emulator programs. You can highlight, for example, the following: Nox App Player, MEmu, Koplayer, Genymotion.
But the most popular at the moment is the BlueStacks program. This emulator is quite stable and picky, although at times it significantly "loads" the system. But it provides the full operation of all Android applications. Before working comfortably, you first have to perform a number of actions: create and set up a Google account, download the BlueStacks application from the Play Market, install Instagram on the emulator, log into your Instagram account already on the emulator. After the manipulations have been made, you can publish materials from your computer.
