VolgaTelecom OJSC is the largest Internet provider in Russia, serving 12 regions of the Volga region. It has the most modern telecommunication technologies, so it will not be difficult to connect and configure the Internet through it.

Instructions
Step 1
Connect to the Internet at the nearest representative office of OJSC “VolgaTelecom”, conclude a contract for the provision of communication services. After signing it, you will be assigned and given a login and password for access to the Internet. The modem at the conclusion of the contract is issued free of charge.
Step 2
Connect the modem and computer using the cable supplied with the modem. The connection diagram is shown in the figure.
Step 3
Now set up your network connections and modem (further settings may differ slightly depending on the version of Windows that is installed on your computer).
Step 4
Click on "Start" on the desktop, select "Control Panel", in the window that opens, click on "Network and Internet Connections", select the task "Configure Internet Connections", in the "Connections" tab, click "Install".
Step 5
After the "New Connection Wizard" window opens, click the "Next" button, select "Connect to the Internet", then "Set up a connection manually". Select "Over a broadband connection that prompts for a username and password."
Step 6
In the "Connection name" window that opens, type the name of the provider (this name does not affect anything, you can type any text), then a window will appear in which you will need to register your username and password that you received when signing the contract. After entering these data, the installation of network connections will be ready, click the corresponding "Finish" button.
Step 7
The next step is to configure your modem to accept a network connection.
