An IP address is assigned to every computer whose owner connects to the Internet. The easiest way to find out the address of another user is to send him a file through a direct connection to the user.

Step 1
Install firewall software on your computer. This is necessary in order to further determine the IP address of the computer, the owner of which you must send a specific file via the Skype program. To do this, open the dialogs menu while the firewall is running and select send files from the messages menu.
Step 2
You can also just drag the desired element into this window and click on submit. After that, it will launch the main menu of your firewall and track to which address your file was sent. This is available only if your interlocutor has confirmed receipt of the file or has set their default reception.
Step 3
When determining the IP address via Skype, make sure that your interlocutor is not using a proxy server. In this case, finding out the real address of his computer will be much more difficult than usual. You can try to find out the anonymizer it uses by searching in special online services, but not every proxy server provides the real addresses of its users.
Step 4
If, having learned the IP address via Skype, you also need to later find out the name, surname or address of the user on its basis, refer to the special services for determining the provider by IP address, for example, https://2ip.ru/whois/. After that, contact your provider with a request to provide information about the person you are interested in.
Step 5
Please note that you must have good reasons for this, otherwise you will be refused to provide customer data to the company. Usually sufficient reasons are considered to be receiving malicious files and programs from this user, attempts to hack your computer, other offenses against you by this person. Most often, documentary evidence of illegal actions against you by the provider's client is also required.
