Creation of html file. The user is prompted to create a file with a specific name and extension "html". Certain content must be written in this file. If a person does not know how to do this, he can download this file. Next, you need to place it on your website. To do this, you need to connect to the site via FTP and upload the required file to the root directory of the site. Please note that this file should not be closed from indexing by search engines.
Adding a meta tag. To implement this method, you need to add a certain meta-tag to the service area of the document, between the opening and closing tags "head". Depending on the use of a particular content management system, this action can be performed both through the administrative part of the system, and by editing the template.
Creation of a text file. The user needs to create a file with the txt extension and upload it via FTP to the site. The file name must be specific, but its content can be arbitrary. This also means that the file may remain empty.
DNS confirmation method. This method is suitable only for users who have access to the domain name control panel. There you need to add a special TXT record containing a specific value.
Please note that whichever confirmation method is chosen, Yandex checks will be periodically repeated. If no file or meta-tag or DNS record is found, the site will return to the unconfirmed status.

Using your Google Analytics account. You must use asynchronous tracking code and place it in the backend of the web page, between the opening and closing "head" tags. To implement this method, you need permission to change site settings in Google Analytics.
Using the tag manager. To use this method, you need permission to manage the Tag Manager container.
