An administrator is a user with more authority than other members of a community, site, or other virtual resource. His responsibilities include adding and editing information, communicating with users, removing unwanted messages. In some cases, the administrator transfers his responsibilities to another and leaves the group. In such cases, you can remove the outgoing administrator through group management.

Step 1
Only another administrator can remove an administrator. In groups and communities on different resources, the control page may look different, for example, Vkontakte is this page: https://vkontakte.ru/the number or name of the group? Act = people & tab = admins. In LJ, the address is: https://www.livejournal.com/community/members.bml?authas=name of the community. On other resources, control pages have their own address.
Step 2
To revoke administrator rights, click the "demote" button or uncheck the box next to the corresponding field. Save the settings, confirm your intention at the request of the system.
Step 3
In most communities, the creator cannot be deprived of administrative rights, even after being "demoted" (VKontakte, My World, etc.). He remains on the list of moderators and caretakers. In other communities, you can remove the creator from the administration after transferring the creator's rights to another user.
