There are several ways to block ads in the Opera browser. Let's consider two of them: the first is blocking directly on the site, the second is the use of a database of addresses of advertising banners.
Instructions
Step 1
First (in the first and second steps of this manual), we will describe the method of blocking ads in fact, i.e. when you are already on any site where an annoying banner flashes before your eyes. Right-click on an empty space on the page and in the menu that appears, select the third item from the bottom - "Block content". The page will change its appearance: all elements that you cannot block will become inactive.
Step 2
Click on the elements that you want to block (after clicking on them, the inscription "Blocked" will appear). To unblock, click on the banner again. When finished, click the "Finish" button, which is located in the upper right. Or “Cancel” (located next to it) if you change your mind. The page will return to its previous appearance, but without the blocked banners. And now, whenever you visit this site, the blocked elements will not be visible to you.
Step 3
Now the second way. It will require a little more effort, but in the future, as the financiers say, it will pay off. It is not necessary for him to go to a specific site. Click the Tools> Advanced> Blocked Content menu item. If the main menu is hidden (and along with it there is no "Tools" item), open it by clicking on the button with the Opera icon in the upper left corner of the program, and in the menu that appears - "Show menu". Or press the hotkeys Ctrl + F12, then select the "Advanced" tab, the "Content" section and click the "Blocked Content" button.
Step 4
Add the most common ad banner addresses to the Blocked Sites list: https://*.adriver.ru, https://*.adbn.ru, https://*.rusban.ru, etc. With a more complete list, you you can find the link at the end of this manual. When finished, click Close and then OK.
