The main character, if desired, can either independently fight with opponents, or hire his own group. The player's gang must consist only of members of the Grove Street Families group. It is worth noting that it is impossible to hire a member of another group to join your gang. This can be done quite easily and simply. To do this, just go to a member of your group (dressed in green) and, being next to him, press the G button. Of course, at the beginning of the game, the main character simply will not be able to create a whole "army" of his fighters. In order to create a large gang, you need to go through the game, as you progress through which the protagonist's authority will increase, and he will be able to hire more fighters.
Zones of influence
It is worth noting that the player will be able to "recapture" the territory from the enemies. Thus, you get the opportunity not only to expand your own borders, but also to literally destroy the enemy grouping. In order to capture someone else's territory, you need to come to the area marked on the map and attack any enemy. After that, the zone will turn red, and you have to hold out for a certain amount of time. If you hold out to the end, you will take the territory. Sometimes enemies will try to get her back. At these moments, a special symbol will appear on the map, meaning that you have been attacked. If you ignore this message, you will lose control of the territory. In order to defend your territory, you need to drive up to the indicated place and destroy all opponents.
