You don't even need a video camera to shoot a Minecraft video. Now there are many paid and free programs that carry out the so-called "video capture", that is, capable of recording in video format everything that is shown on your monitor.

As a rule, you will need to set parameters related to the quality of the recorded video (resolution, number of frames per second), as well as the path for saving the finished videos and sound settings. Such programs are able to distinguish between video streams issued by your video card to the monitor. For example, if Minecraft is running in a window, then you can make it so that only the contents of this window will be in the frame, and not the entire desktop.

After all the settings are made, run the program, and then Minecraft itself. Switch to the video capture application and select the minecart process from the corresponding list so that only this video stream is recorded. Now all that remains is to press the hotkey to start recording.

There is also an alternative way to record a Minecraft video. This can be done using a special mod for the game called MineVideo. For the mod to work correctly, you need to create a video folder in the root directory of the game, and unpack the archive with the mod into a directory at minecraft / bin / minecraft.jar. Now all that remains is to enter the game, press the F6 key to bring up the settings window, and specify the name of the video being shot and the address of its placement. Please note that in this case the videos will also be quite "heavy", so they will need to be post-processed.
