Surf servers differ from other CS servers in that the number of frags does not play any role in them. As a matter of fact, the killings of the enemy are not provided for them in principle. To learn how to play them and enjoy it, follow a few simple tips.
Instructions
Step 1
Find CS surf server. Start a search for servers on the Internet by filtering the map with the word surf. After that, go to it and start practicing. You are unlikely to be able to enjoy the game the first time around, but the more you practice the better you will get.
Step 2
To ride the surf, use the right and left strafe buttons - A and D. If you are on the right side, then press on A, if on the left - on D, respectively. It is undesirable to press the W and S keys - you risk flying off the surf or losing speed. Keep the crosshair pointed in the direction you want to go.
Step 3
In order to change the trajectory of the flight, press the key of the strafe to which you strive, while simultaneously turning in its direction with the mouse. After you get to a new surf, use the recommendations from the previous step.
Step 4
Keeping the speed will provide you with the calculation of the flight arc in such a way that at the final touch point with the surf you will not just fall on it, but descend along a tangent trajectory, while directing the mouse in the direction identical in vector to the direction of movement along the surf.
Step 5
You can stop in flight by pressing the S button. After that, you will fall to the point at which your scope is directed. This is necessary if you want to get to the teleport or to the surface for landing.
Step 6
For a very high jump at the end of the surf, you need to feel very delicately the moment you take off from it. At the moment when you are at the very edge of the surf, you need to sharply move the mouse along the horizontal plane from right to left, or vice versa. The main thing is to perform this movement at maximum speed and precisely at the very end of the surf. This requires some skill, but this trick is one of the most useful when playing on a surf server.
