The citation index is one of the site metrics of the Yandex search engine. Previously, it was used in the ranking formula and influenced the position of a resource in search results. Today, the citation index can be used to indirectly judge the number of external inbound links to the site. Therefore, the analysis of any resource, as a rule, is not complete without finding out the citation index.

Instructions
Step 1
Find out the citation index using the search.yaca.yandex.ru service. Open a URL like this in your browser: https://search.yaca.yandex.ru/yca/cy/ch//, entering the site's domain name instead. The resource citation index will be displayed on the loaded page.
Step 2
Find out the TCI using Yandex money. Open the address https://yaca.yandex.ru/ in your browser. At the bottom of the page, click on the link with the text “Get the money”. In the "Site address https://" text box, enter the domain name of the resource. Click the Get Code button. An image with the TCI value will appear on the same page.
Step 3
Determine the citation index of the site by adding it to the Yandex. Open the address https://webmaster.yandex.ru in your browser. Register with this service. Add the site to the Yandex. Webmaster panel. Confirm the rights to manage the resource using one of the methods suggested by the system. Wait for the information in the panel to update. View the TCI value.
Step 4
Get the citation index value using the Yandex. Bar add-on for your browser. Open the page https://bar.yandex.ru. Next, an automatic redirection will be made to the page of the plug-in version for the browser used. If the browser version is detected incorrectly, click on the link indicating the correct version.
Click on the "Install Yandex. Bar" button. Follow the steps to install the add-on module suggested by the browser. Restart your browser. After that, the Yandex. Bar panel will be displayed. Click on it with the right mouse button and select the "Settings" item in the context menu. Go to the "Citation Index" section. Enable the "Show citation index" option. Click OK.
Load any page of any site into the browser. The TCI value will be displayed in the Yandex. Bar panel.
Step 5
Determine the TCI using the Site-Auditor program. Download this application from https://www.site-auditor.ru/download.html. Start it up. Go to the Express Analysis tab. In the text box at the top, enter the site's domain name. Click on the "Check" button. Wait until the download is complete. The TCI value will be displayed in the "Ranking" section.
