The link name is simply the display word that encodes a particular web address. It can be changed at any time if you have access to edit a specific message.
It is necessary
access to the Internet
Instructions
Step 1
Open the required message. Find and click the "Edit" button. In some cases, it may be called Edit, Change, Change, or similar. The specific name depends on the platform and country the server is located in.
Step 2
In the editor window, select HTML mode. On some blogging platforms, it is called the "Source". It is important that this particular mode is enabled, and not the "Visual Editor".
Step 3
Find the link you need. It most likely looks something like this in the editor: your name. Instead of the old name, enter a new one, based on the context and your imagination.
Step 4
If your link was not formatted at all (it was just an address), use these tags, and come up with the name of the link in accordance with the context.
Step 5
Check if the link is working in preview mode. The text should not show anything other than the intended title. Click on the link for additional verification (404 error excluded).
Step 6
Save the updated post and close the editor. Check the new text to make sure it is correct.
Step 7
In the visual editor, however, it is also possible to change the name of the link. For this, other tools are used. First, open the message for editing and set up the mode.
Step 8
Highlight the entire link. Find the link management button on the top toolbar. It is designed as two links in a chain, a globe or a similar intuitive symbol.
Step 9
By clicking on it, fill in the proposed fields. Specify the full link address (for example, not the main page of the site, but a specific section) and the desired name. Write down additional parameters as needed and desired.
Step 10
Check the message in the preview and save.
