By downloading any information on the Internet, your browser automatically saves data about all completed downloads. It would seem that there is nothing wrong with that. But what if you have saved a photo and video that others do not want to watch? To do this, you just need to clear the download history of your browser or other program used to save information to your computer.

Instructions
Step 1
Each browser, when saving files from Internet resources, saves in its memory all information about previous downloads. But if you want or need to, you can clear the download history at any time by marking only those files that you want to delete. For example, in Google Chrome, you first need to open the settings menu. You can go to it by left-clicking on the wrench icon located on the work panel in the upper right corner. Then select the "Downloads" item in the drop-down window. Click on this inscription and go to the next window, where you will see information about all completed downloads. In the list, you can mark any file and perform the required action with it (delete or open the folder where the selected file was saved). To quickly clear your download history, select the "Delete All" option. This item is located at the top, in the right corner.
Step 2
Saves download data and Opera browser. To get to this information, click on the upper left icon of the browser and select the "Downloads" item or use the keyboard keys Ctrl and J to navigate. Or click on the side toolbar the sign depicting a downward arrow. Select the file you want to delete from the list. Press the right mouse button and mark the action required for downloading.

It's pretty simple in Mozilla Firefox as well. On the top panel, click on the button labeled "Tools" and in the window that opens, click "Downloads". To quickly jump to a section, use the Ctrl and J keys on your keyboard. After the downloads window opens, you can delete the downloads you need from the list. How to remove them: all together or one by one - it's up to you. To delete several downloads at once, press Ctrl on the keyboard and mark, holding the left mouse button, the necessary files. Then right-click and select the "Remove from the list" option in the list of possible operations.
Step 4
If you use the µTorrent program for downloads, on the left side, where information about all torrents downloaded using the application is displayed, select the "Torrents" subsection and mark the file you are going to delete. Then right-click and select the desired action for the torrent: "Delete" or "Delete and". When you select the second item, you can perform the following operations: "erase.torrent file", "erase.torrent + downloaded files", "erase downloaded files". For the convenience of finding the desired torrent, double-click on the "Torrents" inscription in the left part of the working program and select the desired section from the list: "downloadable", "distributed", "ready", "active", "inactive".
Step 5
Similarly, downloads are deleted in other browsers and programs used to download files.
