Correspondence between users through a variety of Internet resources is very relevant and in demand. However, there are situations when the traces of such communication must be destroyed so that they do not become available to other persons.

Step 1
To delete message history from ICQ, open the correspondence window with the required user. To delete a specific message, place the cursor on it and press Delete on your keyboard or the “Delete selected messages” button. If you want to delete multiple messages, just select them and use the same options. To clear the entire history, click on “Delete all messages”.
Step 2
To delete the history of correspondence from QIP, open the message window, at the bottom of which click on the "Delete" item, which allows you to clear the entire history of communication with this contact. If you want to clear only a few messages, select them and use the same “Delete” button.
Step 3
To delete the history of correspondence from Mail. Ru Agent, right-click on the required contact. In the context menu that opens, select the "Messages archive" item, and then the "Delete all" button. This will clear all correspondence with the selected user.
Step 4
In the Skype program, the possibilities of working with deleting the history of correspondence are rather limited. For example, you cannot delete the history of messages with a specific user, it is only possible to completely clear the entire history of communication with all contacts at once. To do this, go to the menu "Tools" / "Options" / "Chats and SMS - Chat settings" / "Open advanced settings" and click on the "Clear history" option.
Step 5
In addition, some Internet services allow not saving the history of correspondence at all. Sometimes this is very useful, since it is not always possible to delete messages in time. To do this, set a special option in the service settings that prohibits saving message history.
