To set up satellite internet, first set up your DVB card. It is assumed that you have already set up a landline. Dialup or GPRS connection is connected according to the standard instructions that you will receive from your provider. Start tuning your receiver. To do this, install in a free PCI slot.
Step 4
You will find a CD with the driver included with the receiver. Install it and pay attention to the appearance of the corresponding icon in the service control panel on your monitor. From the context menu (right-click on the icon) select the Setup4PC function. The corresponding window should pop up. In the Satellite area, click the Add button, where you will write the name of your satellite in the Name line. Confirm with OK.
Step 5
Click the Transponder Management button. In the upper right corner of the pop-up window, enter the transponder, speed and polarization. The information to be entered should be on the specification sheets from the provider. The indicator of the correctness of the settings will be the appearance of the colored Signal Quality line on the left side of the window. Confirm with OK. Click the Data Services button. This is where you enter the name of the provider. Click Add and select the transponder you originally entered with the settings.
