Instructions

Step 1

First, set up an Internet connection. When debugging is complete, download the FlylinkDC ++ program (adapted Russian version of the DC client). This is a special program that will show you which folders on your computer need to be shared, and will connect you to an available hub - a server that searches for the files and sources you need to download them.

Step 2

Configure your DC client. To do this, launch the FlylinkDC ++ program, in the window that opens, enter your nickname (the pseudonym under which you will be displayed on the network). To avoid duplicate nicknames and increase file transfer speed, please include your location in square brackets in front of your nickname. Then select Download from the menu. In it, specify the folder where the necessary files will be saved, as well as the folder for storing files that have not been fully downloaded in order to continue downloading them in a new program session. Then share (share) the files on your computer. To do this, go to the "Shara" section and specify the names of the folders to which you authorize access. They must store at least 12 gigabytes of information.

Step 3

After the program indexes your folders and opens access to them, it will connect you to a free server (hub). In the right part of the program window, you will see a list of online subscribers (in the network). Click on any nickname, go to the "List of files", and you will see the entire list of files "shared" by this user. And if you are looking for something specific (movie or music), then on the top panel of the program, click on the "magnifying glass" icon (search icon). After that, a field will open in the left part of the program window, in which specify the name of the desired file, its type (video, audio, folder, compressed, etc.) and click on the "Search" button located at the bottom of the window. When the search process is completed, a list of all files with the specified parameters will appear in the central part of the window. Select the one you want and download.
