Step 1
Log into your profile on the VKontakte social network using your username and password. Go to the menu item "My settings". Scroll down the page to the item "Your phone number". Here you will see your current number, part of which is hidden for security reasons. Click on the "Change phone number" button. If the page was registered a long time ago, you will see the "Link a phone number to the page" field.
Step 2
Enter your desired number in international format, as indicated in the instructions on the screen. An SMS message with a digital code will be sent to the specified phone, which will need to be entered in the appropriate field. After that, the phone number will change, and a corresponding notification will appear at the top of your page, which will remain in sight for 14 days. If after this period you do not take any action, the new number will be permanently assigned to your page. The VKontakte social network allows you to change your number no more than 3 times.
Step 3
If you have exhausted all attempts to change the phone number, you can delete the old one and register a new page, specifying the desired data. In this case, do not forget to save the list of your friends, as well as all other necessary data (photos, documents, video files, etc.) in a separate file, in order to quickly restore them when registering a new page.
Step 4
The social network "VKontakte" also provides for the ability to change the phone number that is visible to friends on your page in the "Contact Information" section. Click on the "Edit" button and delete the data in the "Mobile phone" and "Additional phone" lines, then indicate the desired information. Click "Save".
Step 5
Some users are faced with hacking their personal page by hackers who change their current phone number and other registration data. Because of this, the user loses access to their profile. In this situation, contact the support service of the social network "VKontakte" by clicking on the corresponding link on the main page of the site. Describe the nature of the problem. Usually it is solved within 1-2 days, after which you will receive a notification about the successful return of the page to your phone number or e-mail specified during registration. When you enter your profile, you will be automatically prompted to set a new phone number, as well as a username and password.
