SMS messages are one of the most versatile ways to stay connected. If your balance is zero, or you are unable to send a message from your phone, you can always write an SMS using a computer.

Step 1
If you know the operator to which the subscriber is connected, you can send him a message using the operator's official website. Use a search engine to find the address of this site, then go to its main page. Use the sitemap to find the SMS sending form. Enter the recipient's number, as well as the verification number, and then type the text of the message. Remember that the Latin alphabet is preferred over the Cyrillic alphabet. This is due to the fact that when typing a message in the Latin alphabet, you have a larger supply of characters and, as a result, the ability to describe the essence of the message in more detail. After entering the text, click on the "Submit" button.
Step 2
If you do not know the subscriber's operator or are going to correspond with him in this way for a long time, use one of the instant messengers, such as icq or mail.agent. Their functionality includes the ability to send short messages to the phone. In order to use it, download and launch the messenger client, register in it and enter using your username and password. Add a new contact for calls and sms. Use Latin to increase the number of characters you can type. Keep in mind that these messengers have a limit on the number of sent SMS - no more than one per minute.

You can also use third-party services to send SMS. With their help, you can send SMS not only across Russia, but around the world. However, these services do not provide a 100% delivery guarantee, unlike the services indicated in the first two steps, so using this option can only be considered as a backup plan. Use it only if the previous options are not available.
