The "Vkontakte" widget is a necessary extension for promoting your site and finding clients efficiently. Elements of the familiar interface of the social network will allow users to feel comfortable on your online service.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide for what purposes you need the Vkontakte widget. Please note that each of the widgets will occupy a specific area on your site, so do not forget about this when coding your pages.
Step 2
Go to the official social networking site. To connect this extension, it is not necessary to register on the site. At the bottom of the page, click on the blue link "Developers" and from the three rendered blocks, select the one that has the name "Authorization and widgets for sites". Or follow the direct link at the end of the article.
Step 3
On the page that opens, you will see a brief description of how the VK API system itself works and a list of those plugins that you can add to your site. In order to install authorization on the site through Vkontakte, you need to have a special application on the social network - it is advisable to do it in advance. The rest of the widgets are much easier to add.
Step 4
The "Comment" widget will allow site visitors to add comments without additional registration. It is fast and convenient, especially since the user's "face" always remains open to others. But be prepared for the fact that third-party links from spammers may appear in the comments of your site. They will have to be constantly moderated.
Step 5
Community is perhaps the most common widget among site owners. It allows you to place a block link to your group on the page. The block itself will display members, or the latest news from the community. In addition, the user will be able to subscribe to updates right there on the site by clicking the "Join the group" button.
Step 6
Also on this page you will find other widgets that will expand the functionality of your site. Select the option that suits you best from the list and click on it. You will be taken to the settings page. Enter the information requested by the system about your site in the appropriate fields at the top of the page. For almost every widget, you can choose your color, size, quantity (for comments).
Step 7
In the field, which will be located just below, a special code will be generated, depending on your settings. Copy it and paste it into your site.
