Step 1
If you don't have enough experience in website building, choose the so-called "rubber" ready-made website template. That is, a template where you can adjust the width of the site directly in the administrative panel without special knowledge. Find such a template on the Internet and upload it to the site through the file manager or FTP client.

Depending on the engine installed on the hosting, the path to the general settings section in the administrative panel of the site will be different. So just go through all sections of the site's administrative panel and enter the "General Site Settings" tab.
Step 3
In the "General Site Settings" section, select the drop-down box with the name "Template Width" and set the existing one or set your own new value for the template width.
Step 4
Next, click on the "Apply" option if the site is installed on the Joomla engine, or "Update" - when working on the WordPress engine.

Then go back to the site or enter the "View" section and make sure that the width of the template has changed. As a rule, "rubber" templates also have the function of changing the number and width of columns. Thus, you can create your own individual website style.
