The NetWare network operating system includes a specific set of protocols that allow a user to connect to a network and use disk space displayed as volumes. System problems can cause the client service to be disabled, preventing the Welcome screen from displaying normally.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Settings" item to perform the operation of disabling the client service for NetWare (for Windows XP).
Step 2
Specify the "Network Connections" section in the list that opens and select "Local Area Connection" (for Windows XP).
Step 3
Call the context menu of the selected element by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item (for Windows XP).

Click the General tab in the Components Used by this Connection dialog box that opens and select Client for NetWare Networks (for Windows XP).

Click the "Delete" button to execute the command and confirm your choice by clicking the "Yes" button in the request window (for Windows XP).

Restart your computer to apply the selected changes (for Windows XP).

Click the Start button to bring up the main system menu and go to Settings to disable the NetWare client service in Windows Vista.

Specify the "Network Connections" group in the list that opens and select the "Local Area Connection" node (for Windows Vista).

Call the context menu of the selected item by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item (for Windows Vista).

Confirm the access rights by entering the administrator password in the system prompt and go to the Networking tab of the "Selected components are in use by this connection" dialog box (for Windows Vista).

Select "Client for NetWare Networks" and click the "Uninstall" button to proceed (for Windows Vista).

Click the "Yes" button to confirm your choice and restart your computer to apply the selected changes (for Windows Vista).
