It can be quite difficult to clear your page on various social networks due to functional restrictions imposed by the site administration. At the same time, there are a number of solutions to this problem that do not require the user to have hacking skills or advanced knowledge of programming languages.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the Windows operating system by clicking the "Start" button to initiate the procedure for cleaning your page in various social networks and go to the "All Programs" section. Expand Accessories and start Notepad. Create a new document with # history_container {display: none; ! important;} and save it with a.css extension. This extension will allow the generated file to be identified as a stylesheet. Open the "File" menu of the upper service panel of the application window and select the "Save As" command. Use the "All files" option in the drop-down list of the "File type" field and select the ANSI value in the drop-down directory of the "Encoding" line. Enter the value my_xhtml css in the "File name" field and use the "Browse" button to define the following directory for saving the created document: disk_name: Program FilesOperastylesuser.css.
Step 2
Launch your browser and go to the My World social network page. Call the context menu by right-clicking on the empty space of the page and select the "Site settings" item. Click the "View" tab of the dialog box that opens and use the "Browse" button in the "My Style Sheet" section. Specify the full path to the created file and confirm your choice by clicking OK. Refresh your page and make sure the operation was successful.
Step 3
Use the special "Delete" button to delete the selected message or use special scripts available for free download on the Internet to clear the entire page. Please note that they are all based on Greasemonkey, which is a plug-in for the Mozilla Firefox Internet browser and assumes the use of this particular browser.
